Presence in Place

Portraits, spaces, and the people who inhabit them.

Light, space, and the lives that move through both

Patricia Mutebi is a Minneapolis-based photographer whose practice is rooted in observation and shaped by architectural training. She works at the intersection of portraiture and place, asking how identity is carried in the body, worn in dress, and held in the spaces people inhabit.

Her process is relational before it is technical. Conversation shapes the work as much as light or composition does.

She is building toward sustained bodies of work, public exhibition, and the kind of slow inquiry that only deepens with time.
